Pawling Town Supervisor, James Schmitt was sworn in by Dutchess County Sheriff, Butch Anderson tonight at the reorganization meeting of the Pawling Town Board along with Councilmen James McCarthy and William Johnson, Highway Superintendent Jay Dickinson and Town Clerk Cathy Giordano. The town board voted 3-1 in favor of appointing former Supervisor David Kelly to the open council seat. Full story pending.
